Helmsley Shop – reopening news
The Sweet Kiosk
We hope all our lovely customers are still safe and well after this long lockdown. The time has finally arrived for us to reopen the shop, but there will have to be a few changes to keep everyone safe…
We will open on Wednesday 17th June from 10:00am until approx 3:00pm.
The rest of the week will be the same, though we will stay open later if it is busy. We will NOT be opening on Mondays and Tuesdays to start with.
Due to the size of the shop we sadly can’t let customers in, so we will be changing the format to become a Sweet Kiosk…! 😀
There will be lists of sweets on the windows to help you choose your favourites before you get to the opening. There will be tape on the floor to keep you at the safe 2 metre distance while queueing. Because of this we will struggle to make up mixed bags unless it is quiet. There will also be a Takeaway Menu for you to have to help you decide before arriving at the shop to help with the time spent queuing.
However, if you don’t want to or are not able to queue we are going to run a pre-order system. You can contact us via any social media and place your order and pay by card (we will give you a call so please leave a contact number). You will then be able to collect your order either before we open or at the end of trading (9.30–10:0am and 3:00–3:30pm). And we can still deliver locally for anyone self isolating.
It might all sound a bit complicated but we are sure it will soon become easy, and hopefully during July we will be able to open 7 days and longer hours.
